Jose Mourinho's men remain four points ahead of second-placed Southampton, who extended their winning run to four games by beating Leicester, and have moved eight points clear of Manuel Pellegrini's men after their 2-2 draw at QPR.

Brad Guzan was the hero for Aston Villa on Saturday as his string of fine saves enabled Paul Lambert's men to escape Upton Park with a goalless draw. West Ham appeared destined to secure their fourth win in five Premier League games by keeping the pressure on Villa's goal for the duration of the match but Guzan matched anything that came his way and pulled off two excellent stops late on to deny Andy Carroll.
At right-back, Daryl Janmaat is one of three Newcastle players who make it into our side this week. The Dutchman combined defensive diligence with attacking threat as his two crosses provided both goals in Newcastle's 2-0 win over West Brom on Sunday.
Fabricio Coloccini struck the second of Newcastle's goals at The Hawthorns and the Argentine was also able to keep Victor Anichebe's physical presence under control in order to keep a clean sheet.
Partnering Coloccini in central defence is Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross. The 27-year-old marshalled Harry Kane with assuredness and aided Stoke's defensive rigidity in their 2-1 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
At left-back, Cesar Azpilicueta made his first appearance for Chelsea since his sending off at Crystal Palace earlier this month in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Liverpool. The Spaniard wasn't given a difficult defensive test but his ability to push forward benefited the Chelsea fightback and enabled him to supply the cross which led to Diego Costa's winner.
In central midfield, Emre Can was surprisingly substituted after 70 minutes for Joe Allen but during his time on the pitch, the 20-year-old was a commanding presence up against a stellar Chelsea midfield and it was his deflected strike which handed Brendan Rodgers' side the lead in the first half.
Oscar continued his fine form for Chelsea and although he failed to find the net, the Brazilian often found pockets of space to exploit in front of Liverpool's back line, while his work-rate and pivotal to Chelsea's defensive effort.
After a subdued start to life at St James' Park, Remy Cabella is starting to have an impact on Newcastle's attacking play and against West Brom, the 24-year-old played an important part in the build-up to his side's opening goal and remained a threat throughout the contest.
Jefferson Montero takes up the final spot in our midfield four this week. The Ecuador international gave Calum Chambers a torrid time in Swansea City's 2-1 victory over Arsenal and provided the assist for Bafetimbi Gomis' winning goal.
In attack, Charlie Austin struck the opener in QPR's 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Saturday and was a constant menace against the Premier League champions. Before his strike, Austin had two goals disallowed, while he also forced Joe Hart into making an excellent save from close range.
Sergio Aguero completes our team this week as Manchester City have the Argentine to thank for salvaging them a point at Loftus Road. Aguero appeared to handle the ball in the build-up to his first goal but his touch to bring down Martin Demichelis' long ball was sublime. His second strike also oozed composure as he latched onto Yaya Toure's pass, rounded Rob Green and picked his spot as three QPR defenders scrambled to cover.
