Robben - Ronaldo and Messi are monsters

Robben: Ronaldo and Messi are monstersThe Dutchman believes the two stars are a level above everyone else, but insists there are several other world class players, such as his team-mates at Bayern Munich
Arjen Robben has described Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as "monsters" and believes
they are "above everyone else" in the game.
The two stars and the Dutchman have been included in the 23-man shortlist for the 2014 Ballon d'Or, with many making the Real Madrid player the favourite to win it after an incredible year.
However, the Bayern Munich star does not believe there is a lot between them.
"It's great to be recognised and I'm proud to be on the shortlist, but it's never been an obsession for me and it never will be, because what I care about are team trophies," Robben told France Football.
"I don't like comparing myself to others, but you are talking about two monsters! They have succeeded for half a dozen years beyond reality. They are above everyone else."
Five of Robben's Bayern team-mates are on the shortlist - all of whom starred in Germany's World Cup winning campaign - and the 30-year-old believes it shows there are several more elite stars in the game.

"There are also other extraordinary players. There are some here at Bayern. The Germans became world champions and many of their individuals are world class."
