Stoke boss hails ‘exceptional’ Victor Moses

Victor MosesThe Nigerian winger is earning the accolades, rightly so, after his impressive cross enabled Peter Crouch to score the lone goal against the Toon Army
Nigeria winger Victor Moses has earned the praise of his manager at Stoke CityMark Hughes after their lone goal victory over Newcastle United in Monday night.
Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea, crossed the ball for Peter Crouch to nod in and
give the home side their first victory at the Britannia Stadium.
"[Moses has] been exceptional," Hughes told media after the victory. "He's a man on a mission, I would suggest.
"He hasn't had a lot of football in the last two seasons and he just wants to play.
"Every time he gets into those wide positions you sense something is going to happen."
Striker Crouch also praised the contribution of the Nigerian to the Potters’ victory.
"Victor's been our main threat so far this year, and he’s going to get quality balls into the box," Crouch told Sky Sports. "It was a great delivery and I'm pleased with the goal."
The 23-year-old has been recalled to the Super Eagles squad that will face Sudan, home and away, in continuation of the qualifying series of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria need to win both matches in order to brighten chances of reaching Morocco in January after their poor opening haul of one point in two matches.
